This Privacy Policy applies to Score Syncer and to every scoring app listed in the table below, on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Who We Are

These apps are published under the ScoreSyncer brand by the following developer accounts:

The data practices described in this policy are identical across all of these apps; they share one codebase and one backend.

Apps Covered by This Policy

The iOS bundle identifier of each app is the same string as its Android package name, except for Score Syncer, whose iOS bundle identifier is com.zach.scoresyncer. Not every app in this list is published in both stores at all times. If an app of ours is not named above, this policy still applies to it and you can ask us about it using the contact details above.

Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's features:

• Match data: Scores, sport type, and match settings you enter. This is stored on our server when sync is enabled.
• Tournament data: Tournament names, participant names, and bracket results when you create or join a tournament.
• Device identifiers: Anonymous device IDs used to associate devices with a match session. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
• We do not collect health or fitness data.
• We do not sell your personal data.

How We Use Your Information

Match and tournament data is used solely to:

• Sync scores in real time across your devices
• Display tournament brackets and match history
• Power the live scoreboard web view

This match and tournament data is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling, and is never shared with advertisers.

Advertising

Some of the apps listed above display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Where an app shows ads, this is disclosed on its store listing. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process:

• Advertising and device identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or the Android Advertising ID);
• Approximate (coarse) location;
• Ad interaction data, app usage data, and diagnostic information.

On iOS we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking identifier is used; if you decline, you will see non-personalized ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and the UK), we present a Google-certified consent (UMP) form so you can choose how your data is used.

Google's handling of advertising data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can review and adjust your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.

Data Storage and Retention

Match data is stored on our server (hosted on AWS in the US) to enable real-time sync. Match records are retained indefinitely so you can review your history. You may request deletion of your match data at any time by contacting us.

Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth for peer-to-peer score sync in offline mode (Nearby Connections). No Bluetooth data is transmitted to our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
